I am going to Bournemouth, on England's windswept and rain-battered south coast, with a big family group for a long weekend. I hope to be posting again by next Tuesday. I wish everyone who stops by here a peaceful weekend!
Bournemouth used to be full of retired people but these days it has plenty of students and other young people. Incidentally my father used to teach at Bournemouth University.
Have a glorious trip, Bazza. We can't wait to hear all about it. All your blogger friends are envious.Cowboy friend? Never mind......I don't want to know.
Thanks for all of your good wishes everyone! I am back now and guess what? We had two days of clear, almost uninterupted sunshine and pleasantly mild temperatures. I will be posting more later.

Sounds like perfect weather for a picnic.
Enjoy yourself Bazza, as if you couldn't! What a fine trip!
That pic is beautiful, very cezanne like in some ways, I love it. I am going to borrow it for a desk top for a while, thanks.
Have a blast! "Windswept and rain-battered coast" sounds so interesting.
Looking forward to your return, Bazza. :-)

This pic makes me almost feel the wind and hear the sea roar. I could stare at it forever. Lovely, lovely, lovely.
